Rhodes is one of the most cosmopolitan tourist destinations in Greece. It is one of the few regions in Greece that allocated tourists long before the explosion of mass tourism. This created the need to provide high class tourist accommodation. Already since the 30s decade the Italian administration (not to forget that Rhodes was then still under Italian possession) had the need to provide tourist accommodation.

Thus the hotel Grande Albergo delle Rose was built and within the building the first casino was facilitated. Over the next restless years the casino remained closed or opened for short periods of time. Since 1999 the casino operated under new property arrangement and with the modern license that it had acquired, it brought investments for private casinos in Greece.

At the same beautiful hotel on the beach of Rhodes, a few minutes from the historical center, Rhodes added the casino to the special type of tourist facilities available. The casino allocates over 300 slots, it is built on two levels and on the second level there are 34 board games, roulette, blackjack poker, and others.

The entrance to the casino is allowed to visitors over 23 years old who hold identification or a passport as it is the same in all Greek casinos and it enables them to registry and acquire for a membership card.
